Laura Haber


Haber was born in 1966 in Bristol, Tennessee. She moved to North Palm Beach, Fla., in 1977 and attended Howell I Watkins Junior High. Later, she relocated to Plantation, Fla., where she attended South Plantation High School from 1981 to 1984.

Haber graduated from high school in 1984.


She was well-known in her hometown as the lead singer of Laura and the Crazy Heart Band. In 1993, her band was featured in the Sun-Sentinel newspaper.

Laura Haber is first and foremost a mother. She has two grandsons and takes pride in staying actively involved in their lives. Haber now resides in Conifer, Colorado, where she continues to specialize in insurance claims handling.

Haber is an activist and a volunteer. She is an advocate for the Women's March and the Black Lives Matter movement. During election seasons, Haber also volunteers at the Democratic National Convention. Haber hopes that her volunteer efforts will contribute to making the world a better place for her grandchildren and future generations.
